Developing Socialization in the Young

In Britain, the school and those working within it, as well as specialists such as psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers, have often seen non-academicoriented objectives as incidental. Recent years, however, have shown a growing concern about schools' lessening capacity to instil both a sense of academic motivation and achievement and socially acceptable behaviour in their students.
