Validation of the Italian Form of the Rhode Island Pupil Identification Scale

A report published in a previous issue of this journal (Merenda, Guadagnoli and Sparacino, 1983) described the process of developing the final operational form of the Italian version of the Rhode Island Pupil Identification Scale (RIPIS). It further presented the results of the research underlying the standardization of the current form on large samples of young schoolchildren in northern Italy (Milan) and southern Italy (Palermo). The present study investigated the validity of the current Italian form of the RIPIS.
